The Fight is inspired by Haruki Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World in which a man's mind is shutting down, visualized by beasts that siphon off memory and then are butchered and the carcass burned.

It is ultimately about my fears and morbid intrigue of generational sin. The Fight is also an homage to dementia which claimed the mind and life of my grandmother. In the last part of her life, her perceptions of places, relationships, experiences changed with the shifting and diminishing of the sunlight.
